I actually really enjoyed this book. It gave some great perspective
Most of the people have come across this question once or more in their life that "What is the meaning of life?" and "What is the meaning of my life?". Some people may have suffered in their life or they may not be able to find their happiness under some certain circumstances and this question is very important to be answered.
As a matter of fact Dr. Frankl would give us, the readers a lot of examples and guidelines to find ours. Since we read in the book that this meaning would differ from one person to another. In this book, we also read "We need to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life_daily and hourly."
I couldn't love this book more and I would probably read it once more and I would skim the highlighted passages.
Finally, this is a MUST-read book and I recommend it to everyone.

It's a decent work. Frankl recounts his experiences during the Holocaust, and relates them to his therapeutic method of 'logotherapy', which is essentially an extension of his idea of a will-to-meaning, as opposed to Nietzche's will-to-power; Freud's will-to-pleasure, among many others. I find it tough to believe in any one of these schools, and certainly not *generally* — each human is probably motivated by any of these in various ratios. Granted, I'm not a psychologist.
Give it a shot. You might like it more than me, who wasn't really interested in the exact workings of the psychologic system (the account of the Holocaust was more compelling to me). That doesn't mean I'm not sympathetic to the idea — obviously every man needs a meaning, a purpose. But so does he need pleasure, and reason, and so on. But maybe I misunderstood it.

There is something about this book. It is not dense or packed with introperspective or surprising insights, but it touches you.
I found it very helpful in this rollercoaster of a pandemic as it gave perspective and showed actions to be done
