This cured me of my parasocial relationship with Tendler and Mulaney.

Any woman, 25+…. Recommend. The older, the better. The comfort this brings because we know we’re not get….
why did i listen to several minutes of animal communication
i think this would have benefitted from a bit more time and separation to reflect on everything. i feel like she sees herself differently than people who read this would (as you can see in some of these other reviews)

In Men Have Called Her Crazy, Tendler recounts her hospital experience as well as pivotal moments in her life that preceded and followed. As the title suggests, many of these moments are impacted by men: unrequited love in high school; the twenty-eight-year-old she lost her virginity to when she was sixteen; the frustrations and absurdities of dating in her mid-thirties; and her decision to freeze her eggs as all her friends were starting families.
As a memoir, this book read well and was fine, I think I was expecting it to delve deeper but it did feel a bit like reading someone's journal entries or how they would summarize life to their friends. Sometimes it felt like things were included for shock value or to get that girl interrupted vibe but then they were dropped.
Petunia was the star of the whole book.

Even if she hadn’t obviously signed an NDA, I don’t think I would’ve been able to read this. I think her writing leaves much to be desired.

I liked this, but it’s not one I would recommend to everyone because of the trigger warnings (honestly surprised it didn’t trigger me). Being able to relate to some of her mental health struggles hit hard.

Girl is absolutely a narcissist living inside her own head playing victim any way she can while judging people for doing the same things she is.
