From the cover: “This is a celebration of the weirdness of the cosmos, the strangeness of humans and the fact that amid all the mess, we can somehow make sense of life.”
Disco snails, God, Atomic Clocks, pee, dinosaur chickens… this really does explain everything. Hilarious science with a dollop of comedy! I love this. I love their podcast and radio 4 show, I loved the stage show and I’m so super excited to have a signed copy of this!

This was fun and light - I listened to the audiobook for part of it which was nice because the authors were really emotive in their reading and made the content even more engaging (podcast vibes?).

Such a fun read/listen. I highly recommend listening to this on audio, the authors seem to be really enjoying themselves and they have great voices. It is everything you could want in pop-sci: short and easily understood vignets of current science that takes only a basic background in math and science to fully enjoy. Easily completed in one or two sittings.
