Interesting read!
Felt a bit slow here and there but the plot concluded beautifully.

This is my first read of Christopher C. Doyle’s writings and it’s a shame I picked such a dull book. It’s starts off at a good pace and as you fly through the chapters, it only gets boring. Characterization is an art and I felt the author miserably failed by trying to rip off of Harry Potter and similar books. There are too many chapters and most of them don’t really mean a thing to the actual plot. Prose is subtle. The plot is not intriguing and this’ll probably be the series I wouldn’t be interested in reading the next book. I had to force myself to finish reading it. Young and Novice readers might like the book but I honestly will not recommend the book and I will not gift it to young readers too. Definitely not an unputdownable.

This is definitely a good read but in the end I had a feeling that there's a huge scope to make it better. The author had certainly did his research, he was able to build the story but all in vein. I couldn't find any connection between the first chapter and the rest of the book. He build up the story so nicely just to end it abruptly all in hurry . That's heartbreaking. I know this is the 1st book of a series. Why sir did you finish it in such a hurry. I wish I could say I can reread this one. Such nice narration such great build up. All the characters were just prepared to see the end but it just end abruptly.

First of all the cover makes me doubt whether to read it or not. Sometimes the cover is the first impact on how the book is going to be.

For a huge fantasy fan this book was truly disappointing. I found the book very unoriginal. It was basically harry potter with mantras instead of spells. An older villain who resurfaced after years of disappearing and a prophecied boy with a smart female best friend and dead parents who was randomly introduced to a world of magic. I really had great expectations from this one and it really let me down.

After reading the Meluha series, this reads as an amateurish attempt. The dialogues sound way too forced and artificial. The story not compelling enough. I understand that this is the first of a series but this did not make me want to read any other from this series.

I suggest buying the Meluha Series for a far better reading experience and story.
