This one was way dark. What Kaden went through and his mom were heavy. But Dahlia was the person that brought them both back in many ways. The heat and intensity between Dahlia and Kaden was so good. I loved that she knew just how and when to push him. And I also loved how determined he was to keep her. I can’t wait for the next two books!

I have read this book and I couldn’t wait for the second book in the series so when I found the audiobook I had to. I loved the mmc narrator but fmc sounded a little bit older which messed up with my experience but it was alright

my 2nd rina kent book and whew what an experience. the stars are for preston and marcus. i had to resort to some methods to obtain the audiobook and i swear if my device gets a virus im going to tweak because my gosh i was depleted of peak yaoi the way fish lose air outside of water. i cannot be getting data privacy breaches just because of that
dahlia and kane keep treading the lines of bearable and unbearable. i can never not cringe at the smut. the way they dirty talk send me 😭😭 one hour in and they fuck on forest dirt bruh like guys mother nature is decaying and yet yall still decide to release ur bodily fluids into the eroding earth
even julian and his wife with their two paragraphs of screen time had me more interested. meghan and ryder lowkey go hard too but props to dahlia for her pettiness and getting back at kane during that party tho. she actually stood her ground throughout the book and it was suprising ? she was endorsed as a "strong fmc" but i think sassy is more accurate
kane's dad and julian confronting dahlia in the lab is so random but i ain't gonna complain abt the plot (i've discovered that the best way to read a rina kent book is to turn off your brain and let the words flow through u)
