Great conclusion to the trilogy. The story line isn't as strong as the other 2 and kind of follows the same pattern between Alex and Sage. They are an absolute cute couple and I enjoy their interactions. The story brings in more side characters and side romances. But the story lacks a little and I found I got a little bored in some areas. The story kept referencing a kind of "forced" relationship that has been mentioned since book one to like create a characters happily ever after which bugged me to no end. But over all cute trilogy and loved the read!
3.75 this book was easy and fun. Sure, some things are obvious but there are enough questions unanswered that I was still satisfied at the end.
I tried to read this as slow as possible to avoid ending it. I love Alex and Sage So much! I love the series, I love the writing, I love the world, the politics, everything. I love how the characters are constantly. Making mistakes and They are not perfect and they’re trying to do what they think is bestAnd sometimes it blows up in their face. But it’s just so well done and I love the series so much I can’t say it enough
Absolutely adored it! What a fantastic finish to a series!
Sage and Alex are literal goals, seriously so perfect for each other, and it's just so heartwarming how they've got each other's backs.
As for the story, I really enjoyed seeing how everything tied together, especially when plans fell through because that's just how it goes with treaties and the threat of looming wars, right? All the intrigue, the plotting, and the scheming was my jam.
Okay, it was kind of predictable, but not in a bad way, and it still had me on my toes, and super invested mainly because I was really hoping for a certain someone to catch a break from all the heartache.

I seriously love this trilogy! It's a shame it's not talked about more. I can't believe I dragged out finishing it for as long as I did. I love how much the women in these stories are the badasses and making shit happen. That doesn't happen enough! I also loved how realistic the romance in these books is. Love isn't easy - it takes work and sacrifice and compromise. This book captures that quite well, which is refreshing for a change.
Definitely pick up this trilogy - you won't be sorry.

This one was a bit slow for me in the beginning and I set it aside for quite a while, but I’m so glad I came back to finish it. Alex really annoyed me for the first half of the book, but I later understood his reasoning a bit better. In all, it wrapped up the series quite nicely.
This series was an enjoyable read.
Sage and Alex are a really cute couple and I adore their relationship. It was romantic and it was cute. I really felt the tension between Sage and Alex and how their needs conflicted with each other's desires. Throughout the books they were the reason that kept me reading wondering how they would solve political issues together.
I also like Lani and Clare and Sage's friendship in this book. It's nice to see each of them supporting and encouraging each other. Lani was a funny and mischievous friend. I will miss everyone from this series.

Felt like the story was finished after book 2 and couldn’t get into this one
While I was pretty meh about the villain because o knew who it was as soon as we met the character, I was pleased with the way this trilogy wrapped up.
Sage and Alex got their happy ending, and I was so happy for Cass and Lani's character arc being adorable as well.
