A light, fun, original story.

Kitty is quick-thinking, inventive and very brave, all attributes she needs in this new world she's stumbled upon. Aliens are real, living among humans and they're on a mission to protect earth from other alien-parasites, while at the same time keep humans in the dark about everything.

Fast paced, with ridiculous parts, sarcastic humor and amusing writing this was a fun book to read. I'm looking forward to Kitty's next absurd adventure in [b:Alien Tango|7948544|Alien Tango (Katherine "Kitty" Katt, #2)|Gini Koch|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1310944832s/7948544.jpg|11556310].

Touched by an Alien is fun and a complete guilty pleasure for me. When I told people how much I loved the series they just kept saying, “Really, Kara!? Touched by an Alien?” And I just had to repeat myself: “YES! I don’t care if you judge me, it’s awesome!” Katherine “Kitty” Katt takes matters into her own hands when she witnesses a domestic dispute gone wrong and it gets even worse when said perpetrator grows wings and starts killing people. Kitty now finds herself fighting alongside those not from this world and one of them comes in the perfect form of Jeff Martini, an alien agent from Alpha Centauri…and it just gets better!

I'm not always as crazy about sci if as I am about fantasy. It actually read as a combo of both. Again, it's the characters that interest me. They are all peculiar and fun. The lead female witty, stubborn, silly, and brave when it counts. The dialogue is fast and fun to hear in your head while reading. Plus, this book teaches you to not underestimate whatever tools you have at hand: hairspray, humongous purses, and parents on Walkie talkie (yay Google Andy!) can be made into an arsenal if you put your mind to it.

Hilarious science fiction/romance hybrid with a touch of grrrl power oomph. Katt, a mid-level marketing exec, finds herself covered in slime after an unexpected encounter with an enraged alien in a downtown parking lot. Intercepted by a mysterious team of gray suited "operatives", including the hunky Jeff Martini and his sardonic cousin Christopher, Katt is swept up in a top secret battle to protect Earth from a an invasion of murderous aliens who feed off human rage. Nothing and no one is exactly as they seem, including Kat's own parents, who turn out to be far more than the mild mannered college professor and "consultant" she thought they were. A highly enjoyable read, for fans of either genre! Sequels are _Alien Tango_, and _Alien in the Family_.

Great first book to the Alin Kitty series, Lots of action and kicking alien butt, new background stories about aliens that is both clever and creative. Kitty is brought into a secret world behing her own, both with the help of her parents and two very good looking alien men. All the characters have adicting personalities and I was either laughing or saying no she didnt through out the entire book.

I loved that this book was an elaborate parody of the genre but was still able to carry a coherent narrative. If you're looking for something fun and easygoing to read and that doesn't take itself too seriously I would recommend this :)

This was quite likely the craziest book I have ever read. It is absolute and complete crack. And I kinda want to read more now.
