Be ready to be dealing with the occurrence and PTSD resulting from an insane amount of trauma, but the story is so incredibly addicting that you still end up feeling fulfilled by the end

The story was about the beautiful mysterious high lord Rhysand and a new strong fae with mortal heart. The plot includes beautiful friendships, a found family, a slow burn romance, SMUT that is romantic like heaven. What not to love? Rhysand can have thousand issues but he is the best feminist powerful male I have known in fiction. I love him beyond my senses. Cassian and nesta are so powerful loveable characters who seem very promising.
Overall, this book was worth my time and it left me hoping against all odds, to find a mate!

Take a shot every time “female” or ”male” is said and you’ll die of alcohol positing within the first 10 pages

Alright so, I HATED the main character in the first book of the series, for a multitude of reasons, namely she was dumb as rocks. The start of the book did not change this fact, however, the proximity of her character to Rhysand tricked my brain into thinking she changed, and I eventually liked her again. However, in my lesbian opinion, GODDAMN RHYSAND. That is all I will say on the matter, other than that, the plot picked up but not until the latter half of the book, also
Tamlin had such a strange change of character from the first book, I understand it was explained by the ‘trauma’ he got from watching Feyre die (get a life bro she literally couldn’t read…) but it really gaffe me whiplash reading these back to back.
Overall, liked this a lot more than the first book, and if you’re looking for a book that will make you react for an invisible audience you’ve found it!
