I freaking loved this book. I couldn't put it down. Nyfain is so freaking sexy and how he treats Finley is so sweet. Of course he has his rough edges, but tell me one man that doesn't. And the claiming at the end,,, OMG !
I cried throughout the book. There were so many touching parts that made you really latch on to the characters. But the letter at the end of the book from Nyfain to Finley, I balled like a baby. So beautiful.
The way the book ended, made me want to bust open book 3 immediately !!

If you enjoyed book 1 this is a great continuation of the storyline and we get to more of the interactions between the main characters and how their relationship and their relationships with others in the kingdom are developing. I did enjoy this book however I did struggle in places because it felt a little jumpy. Some certain 'scenes' felt slightly out of place with what was happening at the time and it felt like they had just been added for the sake of it or to get the 'spice' vote.

This book was a step back from the first one. It was 90% sex scenes, which left little room for tension, plot, or basically anything else. There’s definitely such a thing as too much dragon sex, I found out while reading this. I still like Finley quite a bit, and Hadriel is a hoot, but you gotta let the characters up for air, otherwise it just gets boring.

Finley and Nyfain's relationship went to a whole new level of spicy! They continue to work towards helping the villages with the cure and elixir. There were so many answers at the end that I can't wait to continue this series!! I love Hadriel and Laela!!
