Another excellent book from this author. Really loved where this went and I’m dying to dig into the second one.

Finley just really came into her own strength in this book. I loved how badass she was and how she handled herself in all situations.

Ugh that ending letter! They were so close. Ah! Can’t wait to see how it ends.

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 ~ Very good.

Another fun and very spice read! A whole lot spicier than the first book in my opinion, and a few times it did get a little much for me…But the plot kept me intrigued, as did the loveable characters. So those scenes ended up not putting me off at all!

I loved the developing relationship between Nyfain and Finley in this book. It’s gradual and not forced. Finley also continues being her badass, charming self and is determined to not let her people down. Love that about her. Her animal is also hilarious and the dialogue between them both is so entertaining. I’m glad we got to see a softer side to Nyfain in this one. Although he’s extremely protective as an alpha, Finley really does break down his walls and he does/says incredibly sweet things for/to her. Also, Hadriel is still amazing, need I say more? He’s defo a fave.

The plot is what really has my attention. It’s really interesting and has continued to grow in this book. I really enjoy Finley working with the Everlass to save the villages. I love that she will stop at nothing to see the people cured. It got a little more political in this one and I’m interested to see how the plot continues forward, especially now after meeting the demon king! I just need to know what happens next…

Can’t wait to continue reading!
