I didn't really connect with the main female character, Finley. It kind of just made me think of over-sexualized beauty and the beast. I love both of those things but I couldn't really like Finley. I tried. And there was the scene with the sort of not consent and it bothered me that this was 'acceptable' in this world. I enjoy the primal-ness of the shifter genre, the idea that there is a completely separate animal soul inside you and it can be very erotic in spicy novels. Buuuuut, there was only 2.5 souls consenting in their very first smexy scene. JUST wait!!! It would be much better when all four souls are on board. I did not like that, but pushed past it and then the relationship developed alright, and I was actually enjoying the equality fighting side of Finley, but I just couldn't stay interested.

Too damn repetitive. Made me so mad I stopped the series. This book barely progressed the plot, and the constant lying by the mmc pissed me off.

Easy read, little to tax the brain, plenty of sex!

I'm really not sure how I found the 2nd part. At times it was really long, but the clifhanger at the end made it a little more interesting. but please, for the love of God, not so much alpha in the 3rd part

Equally smutty and fun as the first book. This book was more sex and less plot tho… 🤣

Would be five stars…

I love the plot and I’m no prude clutching at invisible pearls but there’s almost too much smut. It, almost, overshadows the stellar fucking plot.

Second book in the series, and it was not as good as the first. This book focuses on developing the relationship between the two MCs. They finally do it, so that is kind of *all* they do in this book. It was to the point where I noticed a pattern in the scenes, it became predictable. And while the smut is very hot and explicit, a large chunk of those smut scenes did nothing to move the story forward. It felt like fan service, TBH. I think the 2nd and third book could have been combined, and the story would improve. I still recommend the book and the series, just prepare yourself.
