Did I like this book? Yes. Will I read the next one? 100%. Did the plot stall in order to insert more smut? Also yes.

Look I love gratuitous smut, don’t get me wrong, but in the middle there I felt like it was the only thing driving the story which got a little boring. It was a good book and if you like the first one I’d totally tell you to read this one.

Lubię te historie, jednak już przy końcu książki naprawdę zaczęło mnie nużyć to wszystko. Nudziły mnie już ciagle podobne do siebie SMUTne sceny, tez było ich po prostu trochę za dużo, mimo, ze nie przeszkadzają mi takie momenty między bohaterami, ale zwyczajnie brakowało mi więcej normalnych interakcji między Finley a Nyfainem.. Zakończenie no wow, w końcu coś ciekawego zaczęło się dziać, zdecydowanie sięgnę po kolejne części tej serii

A nice book, that I read in May and for which I am writing a review in November.

I remember liking it and as a result, going in and reading the following book of the installment.

I also have this quote saved:

“No hate-fucking, then?”
“No. No hate-fucking. Not even with scrappy whores.” I felt my eyebrows lower dramatically. “Don’t call them that—they are working like anyone else, regardless of the profession they chose, and they should be respected. And don’t mention other women to me again.”

I liked the correction, the brief interlude that took a side-step into word usage and social criticism.

I enjoyed this ridiculous book. The thing I like the most about this series is that it really doesn’t take itself too seriously, and this book was surprisingly self-aware. It is nonsense, but it know it is and it owns it, and the characters, though larger than life, are clear and well drawn.
