I enjoyed this ridiculous book. The thing I like the most about this series is that it really doesn’t take itself too seriously, and this book was surprisingly self-aware. It is nonsense, but it know it is and it owns it, and the characters, though larger than life, are clear and well drawn.

I have not loved a book boyfriend like this in quite some time. I have also not loved a book series like this in quite some time. I love every character. I love Finley and how strong she is. I love that she gives as good as she gets. I love that she is a match entirely for Nyfain. The only thing I didn’t like was the random unnecessary sex scenes thrown in of other people. But, honestly, that’s a tiny gripe that pales in comparison to the rest of this beautiful, amazing book.
This book has some major plot holes. By the time I got to the end of it I was just like completely lost as to how we got to the point we were at.
But I still gave this book 4 stars because it is a great combination of silly and steamy. And it’s a quick read! Plus, I am all here for ultra possessive shifter men.

So Good!!
This series is so good!! Each book builds on to the world that Finley and Nyfain live in, so it never gets stagnant, and I love that!
Finley is an amazing heroine. I love how she does what she believes is right no matter what others think. She has grown so much just since the first book and her growth and maturity is amazing. Poor Nyfain does everything in his power to keep her safe, but between his dragon and her hard headedness, he is in a losing battle.
I can't wait to see what happens next in A Kingdom Of Ruin!

This book.
Holy crap.
So freaking good.
I'm so happy that this series was my first shifter romance. I'm really pissed that the next book doesn't come out for another week and I'm cozied up on the couch in a snowstorm without it.

Stella sequel!
A Throne of Ruin is a wonder continuation of Finley and Nyfain’s story. Filled with beautifully tender moments and laced with some of the spiciest scenes I’ve ever read in a fantasy series like this, book 2 in the Deliciously Dark Fairytales series is a must read!!

I liked it less than the first but I'm so invested, I''m going to finish the series regardless.
