Absolutely loved this book!! Just be prepared for it to take a little while to pick up. The first half is mostly world building and character background to setup for the second half, and the upcoming sequel (already pre-ordered!). I loved it in the end though because it all tied together, and a lot of seemingly mundane things ended up being foreshadowing to big things later on!

It was fine, I enjoyed the writing style. There were some aspects I did not enjoy, and several that were outright problematic. it also felt like there was a lot of nothing happening in some chunks. I wouldn't read it again, but I didn't hate reading it.

DID NOT FINISH

The story was good, and I'm sure I'll eventually pick it back up but it's just not holding my interest right now.

There's potential but overall I felt like I was in high school with a peer review assignment. There were so many typos, back and forth with Erasmus vs Eramus,  Ag'drurath in story is emphasized to be three syllables but the pronunciation guide shows it's spelled out as only two. There was just too much polishing needed making it distracting from the actual story.

That being said, I felt invested with the plot and most of the characters. I would try another read by this author with hopes of less typos, more consistency, and less needless repetition (there were a few moments where it seemed like paragraphs were just rewritten in the following paragraph)... Potential.
