i think compared to this authors other words, this one was fine. i listened to the audiobook and i wasn't really invested in the concept of this story. it is very well written, just not for me!

I’m really glad that this book - with all of its joyfully queer shenanigans and antics - exists, but it wasn’t really for me. I didn’t vibe at all with Chloe, so being in her POV was exhausting. I wanted to spend way more time with Rory + Smith, Georgia + Summer, Benjy, Ash, Ace… I was interested in basically everyone but our protagonists. Glad to have read it, but not my fave.
