Wow, wow, wow! This is a must read...a must listen too. I wanted to rush through this and hear every poem but I didn’t want it to end, I didn’t want to stop being in her poems!
I listened to this book, read by the author. The flow of the petite in her own words was beautiful. Also beautiful was the coming of age in a different culture story.

I really enjoyed this book as a whole. It was wonderful to get to know the main character and journey with her to embrace herself and find her voice. Perhaps things get wrapped up a bit too neatly at the end, but that is the nature of YA.
