Meredith Wild

I really enjoyed this. Meredith Wild sucked me from the get go and I couldn't pry my focus away. I found the characters enjoyable, and the drama believable. The only reason I gave this four stars was becuase it had a slight insta-love theme. Overall though I was very pleased
adventurous mysterious tense fast-paced

This was my first erotica book and I did enjoy it. The sex scenes weren't too overly gross with their descriptions. You definitely knew what was going on with a fair amount of details but it was in a tasteful way I thought. The book is pretty short with a lot of side plots going on that make me think it's setting up for a lot of the events in the rest of the series. I enjoyed the plot and Erica's character. Don't think I'll read the rest of the series because I'm more into fantasy and horror but I will be looking up spoilers online because I'm curious what happens haha.

I read this one when it first came out and couldn't really get into it. Re-read today and I loved it. Want to read them all.x
fast-paced

fast read, decent story

When I first started reading this series, one of my fellow book nerds said that this was a trilogy. She was certain of it. And since all three of this trilogy were out, I would devour this series in the course of a weekend. And I did because she lent the first three of this series to me.

I instantly was wrapped into Erica's world because of her determination to make her way on her own. She's such a strong, sexy, and smart character on her own. Blake brings conflict - good and bad, lust, love, and hot sex.

The trials and tribulations they face apart and together had me more enthralled than I was believing they would but Meredith Wild wrote two characters that I couldn't help but fall in love with.

If you have yet to read this series, I suggest making sure you have all five so that when you finish this book, you start the next because going on to another book is just so wrong when there's more Erica and Blake to read and discover and absorb.

I've started to read several books that were similar to 50 shades but this is by far the best one. It takes a while to get warmed up but once it gets there it's hard to put the book down.

Una historia bastante equis, la verdad, esperaba más, la historia me a parecido como que era más larga y que la fueron cortando para evitar ciertos "misterios"... Y otra vez instalove

This seemed soo similar to 50 Shades of Grey to me. Not because it's erotica, but because it's about a young hot inexperienced college graduate (with a few problems in her past) who is relying on a super attractive billionaire to fund her fledgling start up. Of course they get involved. Of course he's controlling. Of course he's AMAZING in bed. Of course he is going to school Erica in the ways of business and lovemaking. Lots of hot unbelievable sex scenes, followed by even more unbelievable plot. It ends on a cliffhanger to make you want to finish the rest of the series. Didn't work for me though. If it keeps up the similar story-line to 50 Shades, I know exactly where it's headed. A nice steamy, brainless read.

3.5 Stars
Hardwired is like 50 Shades if Anna had a backbone. The book is a more feminist nodded to erotic. I really enjoyed that the main character refused to be controlled and continually stood up for herself. Some things I didn't like- as a hacker novel I had hoped that hacking would be a bigger part of the book, but the first in the series barely grazed the topic. I also didn't enjoy Blake's temper tantrums at times. I knew he's supposed to be a control freak, but at times he seemed like a petulant child.

Yes, I like this. I'll give it just 3 stars because I feel things moved too fast and there was not enough character building. Also not enough background.
But, heck, I'm invested now, I'm gonna read the whole series.
