Hardwired by Meredith Wild was a fantastic romance novel that had me addicted to each and every word.
When reading the back synopsis of this novel, it may appear to be similar to Fifty Shades of Grey, but this novel is far better! Not only does the plot build up and create conflict, but there is character development, romance and a little bit of suspense! It's a great read for someone wanting a little splash of everything.
Erica, our main character, has a strong personality and does not seem like a wash-out type of character. Her story is slowly released throughout the novel and her relationships with characters seemed real and not forced.
There were not many issues I had with the novel. If anything, I would have preferred it to be just a few more chapters longer to tie up a few loose ends, but this novel is part of a series so that isn't a big issue.
Overall, I loved this novel. I want to read the rest of the books in this series!

This book was very meh. The writing was technically good but the characters felt flat. Their chemistry wasn't believable, and since that's the main thing driving the plot, it just didn't work.
Saben qué, no estuvo mal, pero creo que el problema soy yo ahora cuando leo escenas eróticas en español. Me hacen sentir incómoda. Como que no estoy muy cómoda con las palabras elegidas. Algunas escenas las buscaba en inglés JAJAJAJ, pero por el resto, sí.
El final no fue nada. De hecho si me lo hubieran dejado cuando ella se entera del nombre de él, hubiera sido más impactante jajaja.

Such a great book. I love the hacker part in this. This is my first book with a billionaire hacker. Lord knows it is getting good! Very good read!
I first fell in love with Blake Landon years ago, before I divorced so many other authors. Her was the first billionaire I read who loved Tesla as much as do. The book itself is such a great foundation to do many things that I know happen in the later books. Because I have finished the series and have just recently purchase the physical copies. The minds of techies has always fascinated me and I loved how motivated Erica is with how much the girl has had to deal with in her life. This book ends with a great cliffhanger that isn't heart-wrenching but enough to keep you addicted to what's to come!!!!
Erica is a completing student from Harvard, looking for investment into her fashion social media platform. Blake Landon is a potential investor, a self made millionaire not much older. Blake quickly wants to move their relationship from business to personal, but Erica doesn't want to complicate her priorities. An easy, enjoyable read, the beginning 60% was gripping, less so from there.
This was an interesting book. I like that the main female character almost always stood up for what she wanted rather than just letting the guy take over (I really liked this). Otherwise, I felt like this book was similar to a lot of other stories I've read, but I really enjoyed reading it and would probably read it again anyways. Blake and Erica are definitely an intriguing couple and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
