I will be starting the second one within the hour! Meredith Wild is pure genius.
3.5 stars.
The book kept me reading. My one real complaint is that Erica, the female MC was a little too “ I love you/I hate you” for me. From the get go the male MC is controlling and yet it seems to surprise her. Hopefully the next book will be a little less of that.

Just mediocre for me. Didn't connect much with this until around 70%. I really, really like Blake though!
Another library Bingo prompt. An author who shares your name.
I'd remembered I had heard of this author years ago; and knowing she writes romances I was down. I wasn't exactly prepared for the 50 shades of it. Now when I think about these 2 books together honestly this one I liked more; the relationship while still a not exactly healthy was more...organic. It didn't start off the same way it ended. It grew into that trust it wasn't demanded.
When I think about the 2 books I read this weekend for the library prompt this one gets 4 stars because I might actually read the next book in the series where as I probably will not read the next in the Lori Handeland series Nightcreatures.

I lent a book to a coworker and she brought this for me to read in return. Not my usual style but marginally entertaining. Pretty well written for what it is. Lots of sexy times with a thin stab at a plot.
Such a quick read because I literally couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between Erica and Blake is electric. I can’t wait to read the next book, to find out more of their story! Addicted to say the least.
It was okay. Good enough for me to be curious about the sequels. Although once again I liked every character more than the main one, Erica. She was all over the place. The book started out better than it finished too. Important discussions between characters felt left out. An extra few chapters would have easily fleshed everything out more.
