Sigh. I wanted this to be something I really liked - but it really struck me as CrossFire series Extra Lite, minus the scorching chemistry, witty dialogue, and gripping narrative. I re-read that series every year and a half or so, because it's impossible to not to get pulled into the dysfunction and then revel in the couple's increasing health and sanity. And did I mention the chemistry?? Sizzle. Here - there's some level of promise, but it all feels like exaggerated emotion and a light sketch of people and narrative. It's a quick read, but not compelling. Too bad.

Great and very easy to read - the story flowed well and the characters are interesting, but they need more development which I think we may see in the 2nd book in the series. I will continue the series, but I'm not anxious to get to the next book.
Not sure I agree with the "fifty shades" similarity hype, it's just not as dark and the sex (at this point) not as "kinky". Maybe the control aspect?? But,the writing is better with just as many dark pasts and the possibilities are endless.

Who seriously doesn't love a computer geek! OMG, I think computer guys are my kryptonite, like seriously. Other people love cowboys...but my love is computer guys!
Hardwired was a great story! I've heard many good things about this series and so I finally am just now starting it.
Erica and Blake have some seriously steamy connection going on. I adore the fact that Erica held her own and didn't just fall for everything Blake said and did from the minute she met him like some of their other female leads do. She is definitely one of the 'I am woman, hear me roar' types and I love that about her. I do think she over thinks way too much though, lol.
Blake is so yummy! OMG, where can I find one of these billionaire computer guys!? Can I keep him?
I've started to read several books that were similar to 50 shades but this is by far the best one. It takes a while to get warmed up but once it gets there it's hard to put the book down.
No sé si es cosa de traducción o la escritura era floja hasta en su idioma original. No recomiendo; hay un montón de literatura erótica que se desarrolla mejor a nivel romance, sexo, personajes, diálogos y monólogos internos. Sin mencionar lo posesivo, manipulador y obsesionado que parece estar el protagonista masculino.
