This was a very blockbuster-like book. Great twists, very hate-able antagonists, very entertaining premise and climax. The politics could get boring but the sci-fi, betrayals, and sharks made up for it. Plus the FMC was a badass, do yourself a favor and picture Sigourney Weaver in this role.

I adore a mystery and this one (although very far fetched and just too much at some points) was so much fun and so fast paced! I looove Dan Brown's writing--he will always be a favorite author of mine

I read the book when I was undergoing training in academy. Too less time to sleep even. Someday 01 page, someday more. I took almost 02 years to finish this book(the book is not at all slow paced, I could barely manage any time to keep me clinging to the book. But I could never give up reading the book until one day when I finished). I possessed the paperback and used to carry the book even during my exercises outdoors. By the time I finished this book, it became almost double in size and somewhat muddy. I'm grateful to the book as it was always with me during my years of intense hardship. Don't know whether my emotion is talking or not, I think this book is the best work of the writer where he didn't become too much pedantic.
I'd heard before starting the book that it wasn't Brown's best book, which I partly agree with after having finished it, but that being said, I was still drawn in by the plot and was turning pages as fast as possible to see what happened next - nice, easy read!
