I wanted to like this book more than I did. I just felt like Hayley was super flaky and she annoyed me a bit too much. She was given all of these things by her very wealthy brother and she was given a job and she came in late all the time and was a terrible employee. She spent all her time sneaking around with Corey. I liked their story, but I felt like they took nothing in their lives seriously and just focused on them sneaking in quickies in the office. It didn't jive with the "drive" he supposedly had and how he was so successful.
the heroine was a spoiled brat, there wasn't really any connection between the main characters and the 'conflict' was stupid.
Al 8% me di cuenta que no era lo mío, a los 27% lo confirmé. No me gustó la forma en que está escrita, siento como si fuera cualquier fan fiction. Dos estrellas porque la idea estaba buena, pero hasta aquí lo dejo :(
The blurb excited me but nope. Hell no. Wth was that?? I was about to DNF at like 10% of the book. This lacked depth, was childish (when they’re supposed to be in their mid-twenties) and the story just wasn’t executed well. A lot of issues were overlooked like they were nothing (self harm stuff) and conflicts were resolved in the stupidest ways. The main conflict was dumb af. They acted like teenagers. Also, the h was spoiled and ungrateful af. I didn’t connect with anybody and yeah no. The only thing I liked were the little sweet moments they had as kids. But other than that this meh. Not horribly horrible or badly bad just meh. I don’t know how else to explain it.
Happy happy sighs... smiled all the way through! So much love for Whitney G.
Another hot hit
One more amazing hot hit from Whitney G. This one doesn't disappoint either.. I love these characters from the last series and am so happy I got to see more about what happened to them!

★★☆☆☆ (2’5/5)
Entretenido pero sin más. Me ha hecho pasar un buen rato y es una lectura muy rápida (porque es cortita) pero sin muchas pretensiones. Tengo ganas de leer más de la autora porque leyendo opiniones he visto que este no es de sus mejores libros.

The only one I liked was Corey. Haley is an ungrateful child who does whatever she wants and doesn’t care about how that can affect other people I mean cmon grow up! And then Jonathan is really stupid and unfair to Corey
Like most books by this author, this is a sweet and comparatively moderately sexy read. It features an endearing hero that I really liked, and a less than charming heroine that I eventually liked.
This book basically has the same structure as a typical Whitney G read—if you have read her before, it features the lovable tension, the quick banter, the snarky emails, etc. I liked the backstory for this couple, because I always love seeing couples meet as teenagers and I enjoy reading about how their relationship progresses over time. I didn’t really like the heroine’s persona, because she just annoyed me for some reason.
I was on board for and was engaged with most of the plot. I only lost love for it when the inevitable emotional climax happened and the hero made a dumb choice that took away from his character a bit. His actions did make me warm to the heroine more, so that was a plus.
Also, this romance features the couple from this author’s (I believe it’s called) Midlife Love series, and though those two were a hot mess, I’m curious about how their romance played out, and I think I’ll read their story in the future.
The fact is that I am a bona fide Whitney G Stan and I will keep reading her entertaining romances, no questions asked. Therefore, my opinion is probably not the most valid as far as recommendations are concerned, but I liked this one. It isn’t her best, but it has merits, and it brought me joy and a needed distraction.
