one of my new favorite reads! definitely going to be thinking about this one for the next few days <3
I wish I could add more stars
This was beautiful and I love it. I loved the possible peak inside what it might be like for a idol and that hurt my heart because that is their reality but the beautiful aspect was these two souls coming together. It was a fun read. Funny, spicy, and authentic it felt like. I can’t wait for more from this author

This is one of the most wonderful books I've ever read! It's evident the writer put her heart and soul into it ; from the meaning behind the title, to the design of the book as if it was a vinyl record. The story between Raphael and Jae got me smiling, laughing and crying. From the very first page you are part of an emotional journey until the last page. It's so romantic, so sexy and full of hope. I'm not really in k-pop, but believe me it was not a problem. On the contrary, I ended up in love with Jae. Scarlett Drake is definitely one of my favorite authors from now on. I have a hangover and find myself still thinking about the characters. I'm a sucker for Rockstar romances and honestly never thought of something like this, with a Korean character, but now I need more!! Totally recommendable.

I absolutely believe in ‘insane chemistry at first sight’, an undeniable and unexplainable pull to someone. American rockstar Raphael, who has never been attracted to another guy before, gets slapped in the face gently with a sledgehammer of want when he sees K-pop celebrity Jae at an award show. The Korean musician doesn’t pay much attention to him, but Raphael cannot forget the moment. The spark turns into obsession, and while they are both busy building their career, Raph spends the next 2 years stalking Jae on social media and following his every move. Even though he has a beautiful girlfriend, Raph badly wants to be around Jae, thinking that having him just once is enough to put out the flames. Jae doesn’t think he could ever have a relationship, especially not with another man. He gives his absolute all to his music, his bandmates, and his fans, but in his private moments, he is lonely. When they meet up again (under hilarious circumstances), Raphael is more drawn to Jae than ever and has a hard time voicing just how much he admires him. Jae agrees to see him again and once they are in the same room, their attraction just takes off like a forest fire. Gosh, the heat, the want, the instant pull … Scarlett is a master of describing these magical moments. One night turns into more and before they know it, they are pretty much up against the world, holding onto each other with everything they’ve got … there is just so much that stands in their way, my heart was absolutely breaking for them. They will get to their well-deserved HEA, but you better believe your heart will never be the same after reading their story! The epilogue in itself is one of the most beautiful ones I've ever read.
