I’ll start by saying this book absolutely had some 5 star moments and qualities. I devoured it, literally inhaled the entire thing in basically a day. I loved the different settings and I loved Jae especially.

My main problem was that I found it hard to believe that Raphael was in love and not just infatuated with Jae. When they were together all they really did was have sex and I honestly didn’t know what they knew about each other at all?

Also I’m not going to include details because it’s a spoiler but I’m not a fan of the *bomb* that was dropped near the end. It was a bit of an eye-roll moment for me.

I did enjoy it and would definitely recommend it but it just didn’t quite hit the 5 star mark for me.

Received an ARC for an honest review

First of all, you need to know that I love my MM romance and I love my K-pop, so the premise of this book was so exciting to me and honestly? It did not disappoint.
I felt so many things while reading this book. What I loved was that even though our two MCs are literal celebrities, with crazy jobs and lives, they felt very real and the books felt pretty intimate. Even though I wouldn't necessarily do the same choices as Raphael at times, I understood his thought process behind his choices. And I never pick a book to read about characters who think like me.. that would be boring. We also get a few chapters from Jae's POV, and I absolutely loved those because we get to learn a lot more about his feelings AND his own thought process. Let me tell you that Jae is the most precious soul on this planet and I just wanted to protect him with my life okay?

Then there's the author's writing : she does an AMAZING job describing Raphael's longing and obsession and love for Jae, so amazing that you can't help but long for, being obsessed about and love Jae yourself. She'll write the most poetic and devastating words and then... then she'll also give you the most passionate, hottest, spiciest love scenes you've read.

As much as I want to recommend this book to everyone who likes the MM romance genre, PLEASE be aware that the cheating trope is present in this story (the two MCs do not cheat on each other). While I'm against it in real life and it's not necessarily my favourite trope in books, I can say that it was done well in this one. I don't want to give any spoilers but the author doesn't glorify it and that's all I need.

Thank you again for sending me an ARC and letting me read this gorgeous book before it came out.

Fantastic read! I really enjoyed this rockstar/K-pop romance. Rapha and Jae were so perfectly flawed. I loved getting to know them. Their journey together was heart wrenching at times but also incredibly beautiful. If you enjoy the premise and also like a bit of pining. If you appreciate bi awakenings and the turmoil they bring, you may just love this book.

I loved this book so much. I was immediately drawn in and invested in the story right at the prologue. Its full of longing, lust and all-consuming love. I couldn’t put it down.
