When I tell you that throughout reading this book your jaw will drop countless times. This book is like the 3rd in the series and when i say i flew through it i am not exaggerating. It has you hooked from the start. The backstories of the main characters will break your heart and fill you with joy when or if they get their happy ending. throughout the book there is always something they are fighting for and that's what makes the book so enticing. This book has plot twists and even a cliff hanger. this book is honestly so good ugh i love it. Also please keep an eye out for the content warnings a lot of the things in the book can be triggering.

I didn't love this as much as the second book but I did love the characters.

Scarred Souls is truly that a series of stories about people whose pain inside is far worse than the visible scars on their bodies. No one, no one, is free from the pain. Yet they find that one person who makes it bearable.

Ravage is book 3 in the Scarred Souls series. I love these books. Ms. Cole makes me cry about murderers and enforcers. The books are so well written that you feel the tears running down your face before you register what you have just read.

An emotional rollercoaster that hangs in the balance, Ravage, treats you to another tale of just a number...194. 194 and subsequently 152. Two more lost souls in the evil empire that drugs them into submission.

You must read them in order to know who is who. To know the extent of the evil that they are facing, you need to read them all. I can't possibly without spoiling it tell you the twisted tale that finds Zoya in the midst. I long to tell you, but I must obey the Mistress...

A dark and twisted tale that pulls you in from the start and holds your heart hostage waiting for the end...

Like the first one I felt the dialogue was kind of choppy. Maybe cause I can't do a good Russian or Georgian accent in my head so the sentence structure sounds off? I don't know. I did really like this one though. It didn't really seem like too much happened though? Idk Valentin and Zoya were in the chamber for so long that there wasn't as much action.

My reaction to certain things in this book is a little concerning if I'm being honest lmfao.

I'll swoon for a scarred hero any day! This one was way different from the last two in the sense that Valentin actually tortured Zoya. Like he literally toed the line of taking it too far which was crazy. SO TELL ME WHY, like Zoya I was out there simping for the man. Lord damn.

I think what did it for me was how he always wanted to protect his sister. Like that shit tugged on my heart strings. I'm not saying the other characters in the series didn't go through a lot but for Valentin to have seen his sister be raped I honestly had tears in my eyes for a lot of it. I'm also really intrigued about Inessa who of course I also feel so fucking bad for but like I need for her to grow into a bad ass!

ALSO I love how in every book in the series, we get Luka's POV! Like she could have given us Zaal since this book was about his sister, but no, we got Luka, AND I ATE THAT SHIT UP. Even Kissa. Like the two are literally the PARENTS in this series atp lmfao.

I have been so excited to read Ravage ever since I read the ending in Reap. I couldn't wait to see what would happen, how everything would play out, and I couldn't have been happier with what I got. Ravage was such an amazing book and I positively loved it!

Zoya is a total kicka*s heroine! She might be soft and sweet, but she has a fierce inner strength and will that will floor you. She's been through so much, but it's never broken her and she never really loses sight of who she is at her core. Zoya is understanding, compassionate, and wise - she is absolutely wonderful and I couldn't have stopped myself from loving her if I tried. I know she will do you proud.

Valentin utterly broke my heart - his greatest desire is to protect his sister and free her from their hell. Even though his heart aches to be free and to be good, all he can see is the monster he was trained to be and he can't understand how Zoya sees something more than that. Valentin is more than just a monster though, he's loyal, protective, sweet, and sincere. He's been touched by evil and while it has left its mark on him, it hasn't completely consumed him or taken over. Valentin is good and sweet and he stole my heart like he stole Zoya's.

Ravage is a heartbreaking, gut wrenching, breathtaking read that will make your heart pound, your blood race, and fill you with anticipation, wondering what's going to come next. It will anger you, make you feel helpless and frustrated at times, and make you ache, but it will also touch your heart, warm it, and melt it. Ravage is dark but beautiful and light too - I loved it and I can't wait for the next book!

Ravage is a standalone, it's told from several points of view, and Valentin and Zoya do get a happy ending.

This just might be the best book of the series so far. Yes it's dark, twisted, and disturbing in some parts but the story hooked me and I couldn't put it down.

This did not go they way I expected.

The Good Points

It was more on the darker side than the first two. Not that I'm complaining but there was no trigger warning anywhere, except on other reviews.

Zoya was brave, strong and undeniably resilient. She's my favourite lady so far.

Valentine is not like the others taken by the deep underground of the Georgian Militant Mafia.
He remembers everything.

We've seen Luka and Zaal struggle with who they were made into and having their memories return puts them at odds with themselves. Valentine is still effected by the drug and his actions aren't fully his own so the fact the he remembers was a huge part of why I enjoyed this story line.

The bad points

Same as the last two books. Some major editing and sentence structures need attention.

How they reference male and female characters for example "We have a male working on...." can you not just say, we have a scientist? This and the other kind of references kinda felt degrading to the person's attributes and qualities.

Is it worth reading?
Heck YES!
But if you haven't read the first two books, you should probably go back and start there or you will be missing a lot of information.
