Was unsure about the narrator, would have liked more in print. Excellent true crime fiction.

I hate to say I “love” true crime so more appropriately I’ll say I’m “interested” in true crime. This book borders on “did this really happen” or wow no way this happened I would have heard about it. The author does answer those questions at the end! Overall an entertaining read that left me guessing the entire time.

A real page turner, ripped through this in four sittings.

Does what it says in the tin — or the cover, I suppose.

Paints a pretty believable picture of a small, cosy American town dealing with a series of gruesome murders. While it's pretty well written, I didn't find much in its story that made it stand out.

I don't imagine this story will stick in my memory, but it was a pleasant read nonetheless.

I listened to the audiobook and really liked it. It felt like listening to a podcast about the Boogeyman.
