It reads like Priscilla is untangling her complicated feelings towards Elvis in real time, which is fine, but the depth isn’t always there. There’s a bias (of course, it’s a memoir) that sometimes seems like she hasn’t fully reflected on the stories she’s telling. Still, she’s lived a life behind a curtain and it’s good to finally hear her side of the story.
