This one felt slightly different and refreshing from the other books.
Got a little boring towards the end but l enjoyed it more than that of Asa and Avi’s

"Everybody in this family is nuts. It’s just finding someone whose crazy matches your own.”
This was good, but not great. Probably my least favorite in the series so far. Like I enjoyed it, and I liked the characters and the romance, but it didn't really connect with me like the other books in the series have. I will definitely read the last book though.

After reading the chapter one sneak peek I am very interested in learning more about Archer. A very sneaky boy indeed!

I liked this but at the same time I was disappointed because of who we thought Archer was and who we got. Which kiddos to him for being more than meets the eye. But the whole book felt off because of who we got to know through the previous books being completely different.
3.5 ⭐️
Noah, Adam, and Felix still remain my favorite characters and I was glad to see them in here

This series started off really strong and entertaining, but it's really dropped off with this book. I skimmed most of it because of three reasons:
1. The plot was dull. I wish the crimes in general they dealt with got more creative but they all just sort of start meshing together to the point that it's hard to remember which one goes to which book, and this one is probably the most forgettable of them.
2. While the concept of the psychopath assassin family was always silly, which was always made extra silly by their group moments that got ridiculous and out of hand with them all present, the introduction of them having a psychopath assassin training school that was government funded was laugh out loud stupid.
3. From the get go, Mac gave me the ick. I never got the ick from any of the guys involved in these pairings before, but Mac was maximum ick. He and Archer had negative chemistry together. Archer deserved soooo much better than having a icky, shitty ship with Mac.
I got one book to go, so I'll finish this all out but if this book was earlier in the series, it definitely would have made me drop the whole thing faster than a hot potato.
