idk, i just didn’t like the miscommunication like indy and ryan don’t let each other explain so they have a misunderstanding for a week and this keeps going on throughout the book and it gets exhausting and annoying, but i mean they are a cute couple and i liked how they were essentially had the same issue and goals and were able to understand each other in that way, underneath their opposing barriers they had to build up. i thought they were cute tho how he helped her when she was sick and kept showing his love in different ways instead of just saying it. i also enjoyed indy as a character because she was similar in that aspect, i hate when the the man is more loving than the women because i always just feel bad for the guy, but indy wasn’t like that which was good. i also liked the nickname blue and that they named their kid navy. and also i understand that the smut progressed the story or whatever but i hate smut in books i wish they were all closed door scenes, but i just skipped them and the plot still continued to make sense, so i appreciated that.

THIS MAN IS EVERY SINGLE LOVE LANGUAGE! Acts of service, words of affirmation, physical touch, quality time. NEEDY. HES SO OBSESSED WITH HER. And I fear my standards for men have yet increased again to a godly standards that’ll never be reachable. But hey. Ryan Shay must exist somewhere out there right???
These two were made for each other.
I’m not sure why it’s not a 5 star if I read it in less than 24 hours and had no issues with it but it didn’t give me those 5 star feel.

they’re so cute and i absolutely love this for them ughhh, but the way this relationship with all the miscommunication and time in between not speaking to eachother and letting this fester would drive me personally absolutely INSANEEE, but i understand it taught them patience with eachother to get through their own individual traumas. my anxiety just could never
➸ 3/5 stars!
After months of reading this off and on I finally finished – it felt really good getting back to this universe and being with some of my favorite characters. I will ALWAYS love Zander and Stevie – they’re literally my EVERYTHING but I love that I got to read about Ryan and Indy’s love story.
There were certain parts of this book that were really slow for me and that's why I feel like it took me so long to finish this book. I wish this book was 100 or 150 pages shorter than what it was. I thought it was longer than the first book on certain days because of all the filler pages.
This may sound crazy but I thought Ryan was too perfect that but I still love his character. Indy on the hand was too emotional for me. Don’t get me wrong I AM AN OVER EMOTIONAL person too but Indy was too much for me sometimes. I did love how Ryan loved Indy in so many different ways, because sometimes it really is the little things. When he learned ASL and paid for her fertility treatments I was SWOONING! He never had to tell her all the little things he did for her but finding them out later had me crying! (valid example of how me and Indy are similar)
P.S. I hate Alex and all of Indy’s previous friends – Indy’s friends reminded me of high school mean girls who still think they are in high school.
“I will love you for the rest of my life,” she whispers against my lips. It’s a promise, coming from the most loyal woman I know. “Forever, Blue.”
