The only reason I'm reading this series from Hades perspective is because I enjoyed the series from Persephone's perspective. I could do without this entire series. It seems like all this information could've been put into Persephone's books and done a dual POV. It IS interesting to see what Hades was up to while Persephone was gallivanting about - these books have made me feel that she was much more irritating and out of touch, knowing what was happening behind the scenes. But again, could've been put into one book. These books are dragging a bit. Reading about the same story twice is just maybe not my jam.

Honestly Hades just pissed me off so much in the last book that I am just not even remotely interested in “his side of the story.”

Like I understand that he is dealing with God level shit and Gods being up in his business but to get to the end of the last book, and the start of this book is about Hera not blessing the marriage??? Like Persephone is self-harming, she’s killing herself, her BEST FRIEND literally does kill herself, but I’m sorry Hades that Hera possibly won’t bless your marriage, if she’s even alive to get to the wedding because you just ignore her for most of the book…
The reconciliation arc of book three was just WWWAAAAAYYYYYYY too short and didn’t address any of the (very serious) problems and they’re just fine now??? Idk, I’m clearly worked up and can’t even think about listening to this book without getting so fucking angry again…
