Once again, enjoyed the book from Hades' perspective more than from Persephone. There's so much more background and the challenges he is facing are much more interesting that hers (12 feats vs writing an article? c'mon)
Might have over done it binging the first 4 books in a week, taking a break before revisiting the rest of the series.

I am getting frustrated with the miscommunication trope and how much this mirrors the last book in the series - it meant I tried to skip pages. I would rather it be one book alternative between POVs. Hades POV is defo a lot darker and more plot interesting

If one person asks another "are you well?" or talks about how hard Hades releases into Persephone one more time, I will give this book .5 stars

Hades owns me.
I’m scared for what’s coming next, I just want a little bit of fucking peace please! But also I’m loving the roller coaster of emotions this has me on and I’m living for all the Greek mythology references and how they’re entangled in this saga.

"There are few truths in this world but the one you must always remember is that I love you."
This is by far my favorite book in the whole series!! I really enjoyed the storyline.
Hades POV in A Game of Retribution is 10 times better than Persephone's POV in Touch of Ruin. We got to take a deeper look into Hades himself.
We see how much he really loves Persephone's and see how hard he fights for her even though she doesn't realize it. I also love that we get to meet all the other Gods/Goddesses. There is a lot going on politically that we wouldn't have seen otherwise.
