This is a wonderful intro to the idea of the Holocaust and Anne Frank, especially for children who are getting ready to read her diary or who are not old enough to yet.

This was a great book!! I read it for a book report. It was one of those books where you want to find out what happens in the end, but you don't ever want to finish it.

Emma and I read this together after she read about Anne Frank at school. This book made such a difficult topic a little bit easier to discuss with a first grader. Emma has started writing in a “diary” and we still talk about Anne. I look forward to when she can read Anne’s actual diary.

For a class I'm teaching. Bland, easy-to-digest account of Ms. Frank's short life.
