I binged this in a day, and all I can say is that this hit hard. You’re constantly rooting for these two kids who’ve been dealt such rough lives, and all you can do is go through the inevitable struggles they face with them.

This book is definitely a lot emotionally to handle so I would recommend reading up on content warnings.With that said, this story is so captivating and emotional! The writing is beautiful as well. The characters are amazing and the way their stories connect and share a bigger message about the American dream and being an immigrant is truly memorable. This is an amazing book!
