"Ask me what I want."

Vicious is a enemies-to-lovers romance between a hot-shot attorney Baron "Vicious" Spencer, and Emilia LeBlanc, a waitress in New York who becomes his assistant.

Previously, when the two of them were in high school, Emilia's family worked for Vicious' in Todos Santos. Though Emilia harbors a secret love for Vicious, he bullies her, ridicules her, and is overall an asshole of massive proportions. Ten years pass in which they stay away from one another but when they re-unite, Vicious picks up right where he left off.

This relationship is rocky and conflicted. There's searing sexual tension between the two of them and watching their relationship grow is very interesting. It's angsty and a slow-burn. The backstory is really well developed and sets the scene for the upcoming books very nicely as well.

This is my first book by this author and it most certainly won't be last. Vicious had me compelled to read it cover to cover I literally couldn't put it down because I needed to know what would happen next. I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author and definitely more of this series.

2 stars because the writing wasn't complete garbage & the chemistry was definitely there.

Took off 3 stars because the book is so amateurish and clearly not fleshed out at all. It feels like it was written by a talented middle schooler.

It's seriously alarming that this book is so popular.

Me costó demasiado engancharme, al final lo termine porque no quería dejarlo de lado.

Loved this book. Full review to come!

I’m an addict. Hooked on L.J. Shen. She’s my drug and I can’t get enough.

Baron always acted like he hated Millie but in reality he loved her so much he fought it. This was my second book by Lj shen and i loved it. such a good book!!

Book with a simple written style, could help when you juste want to read with no pressure. The written style is really fluid and the books was literally super easy to read and understand.

Vicious, really is a complex character, looks like the bad character, when it come to Emilia. In fact, his personality is really complex, he is a tortured boy you need to ba save, in a multiple sort of way.

Emilia, is kind of a paradoxal character, she hates him, she doesn't want to be with him cause of his bahvior, but she want to be with him in an incotrolable way too. It makes me think about how love can somtimes be just hard and how dosn't suppose too have a sens. Each relation is really different.
This paradox in Emilia's personality annoys me sometimes, but the book show perfectly how she can't control her heart even is she wants too.

This took me only one day to read this book. It was really relaxing. No pressure. The fact that the se* description looks authentique, without being vulgare is really a bonus point. It change that all the books who just look vulgar when it come to the part reader are only waiting for. I'm thnking about reading all the books of this serie one day. It the kind of book who helps to take a break between two books to complicate (or to long).
