These was the cutest holiday book. This book follows two best friends Holly and Ivy as they swap holidays/ no honeymoon after Holly is left by her fiancé the day before there wedding. Both of our FMCs find love in there respective trips with the most adorable men’s. I love there FMCs friendship no matter what and were there are there for each other no matter what.

Would not have even looked at twice if I’d realized this was a different pen name for Maggie Knox. Just not good at all

There were many elements of this that I enjoyed - the friendship between Ivy and Holly, the obvious inspiration from The Holiday - but the epilogue did not land well for me at all lol. Additionally, the backdrop of Ivy's story being Hawaii as a place of reinvention and inspiration (But no mention of Native Hawaiians) just wasn't something I could get over...

This was such a sweet holiday book. Two friends switch vacation/honeymoon plans when one of them gets left the night before her wedding. This book was heavy on the insta attraction/like (no one said I love you in the "too short" time frame, which I see as a win), but was still such a fun, cute read. It was also a love story to their friendship and how important friends are in your life.

Thank you, NetGalley and Putnam Books, for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.
