I love this series!! I appreciate how much Morrigan has to grow within herself and her unit. I love how the author handles prejudiced views, as well as feelings of resentment and other feelings that can be really hard for children to express. The pacing of this one is not quite as well done as book 1 is, but I still love it, and will reread over and over. I am so glad my kids have this series to grow up with, and it is a wonderful family read, because it has something for all ages.

Good book if you are looking for a series similar to the Harry Potter series.
Again, why did I wait so long to read these! Hoping book 3 lives up to the first two. My only quibble is that Morrigan Crow seems a lot older than 11.

Just like the first book this was an amazing read! There are many twists and turns that will keep you on your toes. Truly loved this book and I am immediately starting book 3 in this series. Can't wait to find out what will happen next with Morrigan Crow and her friends!
