This one started out fast paced and stayed that way! This is exactly what I’m looking for when I want an edge of your seat, page turning thriller! Second book by this author, both 5 star ratings, I’ll definitely be reading more!!

4.5⭐️ for this one! Here we are following Olivia and Laura, as they’re on their way to a bonfire. However, things take a dark turn when they notice that they’re being followed by a truck on the road. I thought the twists in this book were good, and I enjoyed following their journey as they try to stay alive. I rated it 4.5 instead of 5 because I’ve read other thrillers that were more exciting to me. Still, I liked this one, and the ending was great!

It is really difficult for me to get into thrillers but this hooked me from the beginning. Likely because the action starts right off the bat and there really is no lead up to the story.
I did find it really wordy/descriptive at times - that felt like a bit of a filler for the story. But overall the plot was so engaging that I didn't really mind.
My little crime junkie mind was loving Liv's inner dialogue throughout (although I agree with another reviewer that said "a true crime junkie wouldn't travel 1.5 hours into the night for a party with their phone at 15%")
