I wouldn’t say there is a crazy surprise ending.. it was pretty predictable, HOWEVER, the entire book kept me extremely engaged. In multiple occasions I would notice that my whole body was tensed up and I was holding my breath with anticipation.

I got about 100 pages in this past April (yes I know it’s November) and then picked it up last night and didn’t put it down until I finished. Twas a good read, only marked down one star from how predictable it was.

This book was pretty good. There were pacing problems here and there and the ending wasn’t nearly as exciting as it could have been.

demolished in one sitting. the premise was genuinely scary but became predictable pretty soon after the halfway point. plot became very far fetched and characters were very flat (although it’s clearly an action driven story rather than character). fast n furious read but nothing too profound

Super good book! Got me out of my reading rut. Fast paced from the start and no lulls in the plot or storytelling. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the story was a little predictable.

Intense and Gripping

I enjoyed this for it's characters and storyline. Some of the editing could have been improved, but the pace of the story kept up right through.

It was alright. I don't have many thoughts on this book which isn't a good thing, it just wasn't good enough to write about or too bad to complain about. Best way to describe it is that it felt like a filler episode in a TV series. It leans into the whole true crime genre, the main character Olivia is obsessed with it. Despite self proclaiming herself as a true crime expert, she makes pretty stupid decisions in this book. The plot twist was meh, saw it coming from the very beginning. Ideally, I would give this a 1.7/5. Very boring and forgettable book.
