Not good but also not terrible. There’s no depth with Lachlan, we know almost nothing about him. I wish Ansel was the love interest honestly. I kept wishing for them to get together. Dani and Sage had a cute relationship. The Sasha twist was predictable. The story dragged on and on, it could’ve ended way sooner than it did and a lot of stuff was overly descriptive. Overall this story reminded me of Ezra and Aria from Pretty Little Liars, and I probably wouldn’t recommend reading.

“My sweet, Dandelion. May you always be as free as the birds, as wild as the flowers, and untamed as the sea.”

This book was amazing; the plot, the characters, the romance - top tier. The character development was amazing, and I definitely cried once or twice. I love the topics this book touched on and definitely want more stories about the characters in this book.

- age gap
- slow burn
- forbidden romance
- counselor/student

4.5. This was such a good book. It’s traumatic and beautiful and I raced thru it.

Too long
too repetitive
Too little movement on the plot
Too much pining (which I thought I would NEVER say)
Just ugh
So much promise. Poor execution

This book is a solid 4 stars and definitely unique as for the circumstances of the characters and what the h has been through. Everything is from Dandelions point of view so you never truly know what is going on with the other characters until she does. The ending seemed rushed no real apology or explanation, the two main characters act like it’s been years since they’ve seen each other when it’s been less than a year. I think it’s a good read despite the ending, which yes is happy but rushed.

DID NOT FINISH: 50%

so. many. useless. descriptions.
characters are NOT developed and incredibly one-dimensional. phrases are repreated over, and over, and over and over and over again. I am beyond sick of hearing about how goddamn blue Lachlan's eyes are.
everyone is infuriating as fuck. Ansel is the only one with a semblance of personality but it was still not enough.
this could easily be a <300 page book. fucking. USELESS.
