John Bishop twin brother of Jackson and brother of Alex and Evan is living his life. Running the B & B of his family, when he gets a surprise on his doorstep. 3 Month old baby with a note from a girl he used to know. Life changing event. But as the Bishops goes they rally around him and help out. But he still needs more help especially at night as he needs his sleep to run the B & B.

Mila Carmichael lives In Georgia, just graduated and now she is a teacher and waiting on the job of her dreams, teaching at her internship school. But then her grandmother invited her to spend some time with them in Texas. While in Texas she gets the offer of taking care of John's little girl Maize.

From the moment they met they can't deny the attraction between them, but John is very specific about not crossing that line of boss and employer. But the more time they spend together and play house the more they can't deny each other. And also time is not on their side as Mila might be leaving soon. So is John going to let his own insecurities get in the way or will he take what he wants, Mila and the family they could be. Will Mila leave John and Maize behind for her dream job or will she stay and get her happIly ever after?

I enjoyed this book, loved the family element. Loved John and Jacksons back and forth banter. And the way the brothers were always there for each other. I can't wait to read Jackson's story. It's going to be awesome šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

It was a nice, small-town cowboy romance — cute, easy to read, nothing too deep. But I’m giving it 3 stars because I didn’t feel anything emotional while reading. The story was fine, but it didn’t hit me.

Also… can we please stop putting random shirtless men on covers? This one is ugly, and I honestly hate those types of covers. It’s 2025, we can do better. šŸ˜…

So yeah, cute book, quick read, but not memorable.

This book is based on the single father, beautiful baby girl and nanny trope. It is the most predictable plot ever, but if you place it in the talented hands of these two authors, it turns into a beautiful small town romance.

This book stars the wonderful Bishop family in Eldorado town. Evan and Alex are already taken with babies or pregnancies. River and Emily are now part of the family and we get great scenes of the fun family times. Mama Bishop is still the force behind the family and she pursues getting all her sons married and giving her grand-babies. The only single men left are the twins, John and Jackson Bishop.

One day John gets the surprise of his life: a baby is left on his front porch with a letter from an ex-girlfriend, Bailey. Bailey died and left him their baby girl. Needless to say, he’s at a total loss taking care of his daughter but he forges on, determined to face his responsibility. He’s in charge of the family’s B&B, so he’s burning the candle both ways and it’s killing him. Mama Bishop to the rescue, she finds him a nanny!

Mila came from Georgia to Eldorado to spend the summer with her grandparents, before starting her first year as a first-grade teacher. She’s waiting for job offers and needs the distraction of being away from home. She’s also recovering from seeing the guy she liked get engaged to another girl. She’s offered the job to be nanny to a baby girl, and given she loves babies, she takes the job.

So far, very predictable. Mila and John are very attracted but John is the serious and responsible one of the twins, and he insists that Mila is his employee so she’s off-limits, to him and to Jackson. As the days go by, and Mila and baby Maize get attached, he can’t help but admire Mila’s treatment of his daughter. She’s also beautiful and very enticing. Mila is also attracted to John, not just because of his looks but his demeanor. Inside the strict man is a mushy and tender-hearted guy. And then the book goes into a very unpredictable path, which is great and intriguing.

What gives this book a different flavor are the dynamics of the family, his and hers, and the interconnections. Love for family and children permeate in this book and is very uplifting. Jackson adds a lot of spice to the story with his shenanigans and the darkness inside that he alleviates with drinking and acting assholish. He loves Kiera, who becomes a great friend to Mila, but refuses to act on it. Kiera loves him back, but got tired of waiting for Jackson, so she starts seeing Trent, the veterinarian. This is like a side-plot, and you just know that Jackson’s book is going to be explosive.

With great writing and great pace, we are treated again to a warm-hearted, feel-good book. I can’t wait to read Jackson’s book and see how the authors can make him sound good, after so much whoring and grandstanding in the previous books.

The Kennedy Fox twosome continue their Bishop Brothers series with the story of the serious Bishop twin John and the sweet school teacher who stumbled into a nanny job while visiting her grandparents.

John Bishop has recently and unexpectedly become a single dad. His entire focus has shifted to caring for his daughter and barely has time to sleep, much less take care of his family’s B&B. He desperately needs help and when he finds the perfect nanny, he’s loath to do anything that might ruin his working relationship with her. It doesn’t matter that she’s caring and kind, nor that she’s knockout who he falls for with each passing day. Will he make a move before her time to leave comes?

Constantly being in the friend zone is somewhat disheartening. So Mila Carmichael decides to visit family in Texas to take a break. She was only going to stay for a few weeks, but when she got hired as a nanny she slowly fell in love with the baby girl she’s caring for, her family and her sexy yet reserved father who put up impenetrable walls. But after some mixed signal, she knows the attraction isn’t one sided. Can she break down his walls before it’s too late?

It seems all the Bishop brothers are as stubborn as they are sexy. John and Mila’s relationship develops at a slow, simmering pace. They dance around their growing attraction with a sweet and sexy rhythm and the novel unfolds with both drama and sparks. Despite his serious reluctance, John gradually shows his soft and very mature side, showing his deep love for Mila.

And as with the previous books, Kennedy Fox include all the Bishop family with their funny, kind and caring ways. I truly enjoyed reading not just about Mila and John but about the entire family.

Chasing Him is rife with captivating romantic elements. A strong and loyal hero, a smart and caring heroine, charming secondary characters, a slow burn romance with sizzling sexy times and strong family values. A definite must read page turner. It is book #3 of the Bishop Brothers series under the Kennedy Fox alias. It is standalone southern contemporary romance told by both points of view with a happy ending and a preamble into the next book.

I've really enjoyed this series so far. Small town romances have really been my bag lately. I love how they leave a little cliffhanger at the end to entice you to read the next, even though there's no doubt I'll be reading the next one. I need Jackson to get his bell rung.

I knew once I got to the twins I'd enjoy them even more. So this one was good fave so far which I'm surprised cause it's a nanny single dad trope which isn't something I pick up but I enjoyed this one! The twins r my fave bishop brothers and the epilogue has me excited to see how Jackson's story is gonna go especially after the events at the wedding shower. Only thing kept it from being a 5 star was not enough smut for my liking.

Oh, John. I knew you’d be my favorite Bishop. Just don’t tell your brothers... šŸ˜‰

Strap in, guys — you’re in for a ride with CHASING HIM, the 3rd book in the Bishop Brothers series, by Kennedy Fox! John’s story is an emotional roller coaster that I couldn’t help but get on after loving the first two books so immensely.

The books in the Bishop Brothers series can be read as standalones, but let me recommend that you read them all — you don’t want to miss one second with the Bishops! I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the entire family through this series. I honestly can’t say which brother is my favorite because each of their stories is utterly amazing!

In CHASING HIM, John’s life is thrown for a loop when a little baby girl shows up unexpectedly with a note explaining that she is his! Things are already hectic for him with running the family B&B, but this surprise adds a whole different level to his chaos. He takes on his new role as father, but it proves to be a lot, so he, with the influence of his dear Mama, enlists the help of a nanny; the ā€œbaby whispererā€ recently arrived from Georgia.

YOU GUYS! I love Mila! After trying to escape a situation back home, she heads to the great state of Texas for some QT with her grandmother when she is approached about helping John. She is perfect for the job! However, neither realize how difficult it might be to work with someone they’re so undeniably attracted to!

I adore a good slow burn romance, and Kennedy Fox nails it in CHASING HIM! John & Mila’s relationship gave me ALL THE FEELS! He is reserved and she is sassy, but they both have hearts of gold and care so much for baby Maize. When they finally give in to their feelings, the chemistry is unquestionable! You just need to read the book to find out where their relationship goes.

I need to take a second to love on Mama Bishop! I’m pretty sure she should come with a similar tagline as the state in which she lives — ā€œDon’t mess with Texas!ā€ I would never mess with Mama Bishop! She is a fierce supporter of her family who will fight for the ones she loves. Outside of the boys themselves, she is my favorite character!

CHASING HIM is gripping! It’s sweet but raw, and there’s funny banter paired with a lot of emotion! The characters face the harshness of reality. Things aren’t always easy, but they can be easier with the right person by your side.

Overall (in case you didn’t see this coming), of course I recommend CHASING HIM by KF! Romance readers, fans of slow burns, and readers that enjoy a story with strong family values will all love this one. CHASING HIM is available now, so go check it out. And, keep an eye out for the final Bishop brother’s story coming soon!
