Once again, Kennedy Fox gives us a fun and enjoyable read with lots of twists and turns and ups and downs. I think so far this one is my favorite out of all of the Bishop boys so far. There is just something about John that makes you wanna swoon. Especially when Maize arrives. Then you have Mila. Oh how I adored her character. She was sassy but also so loving and caring. When these two are trusted together, the chemistry is insane as much as they try to fight it. I laughed so much at their banter about football and everything else. Made for a great laugh in such a insane situation.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story as well as the fluidity of it. It kept on a great pace and watching the characters develop and change was brilliant. There were some twists tossed in that made you want to either grind your teeth or swoon. I found this a great story on finding love when you least expect it and fighting to keep it regardless of the situation! If you are a Fox fan, you will devour this one!

This series just keeps getting better and better! I loved the family banter. I loved Mila & John. I loved the slow burn. I loved it all. I can’t wait for the next book!
Awwww, John ... he's such a big softie! I'm pretty new to this series with only reading Evan's book and now John's, so I'd say my background knowledge of him was very little. I just remember the scene where the cutest little baby showed up on his doorstep essentially gaining the new title of new dad. Since then, I've been waiting to get my hands on his story! This was such an endearing read and I enjoyed every single bit of it.
I loved that we got to witness two sides of John. He's dedicated to his B&B making sure his guests are happy and that keeps him plenty busy. And then we see him taking the role of father so easily especially after the circumstances of how he gained beautiful little Maize. It has definitely been a while since I've read a good single father/nanny romance, they tend to be a bit corny, but I was all about John and Mila's story. The other side of John that I enjoyed seeing was his much softer one, not just as a father, but also when it came to his devotion to Mila and seeing his flashbacks of when he was with Maize's mom. With his hard exterior and someone who takes his responsibilities seriously, I loved seeing his vulnerable side.

5 s’more eating, star gazing CROWNS
God, I say this with every single Bishop Brother book, but I think John is my favorite!! His story and journey with Mila is just utter sweet romance perfection with a dash of sexy.
John is the more stoic twin, but that just makes you want to know him more. Throw in single daddy status and say goodby to your ovaries. You won’t stand a chance. He is the epitome of a romantic hero, sweet to his lady outside of the bedroom and sexy as heck in the sheets!! He is the full package in every single way!
Mila is so sweet. Your heart hurts for a bit in the beginning, but it’s fun watching her find her place with the ever loving Bishop clan. I will say that I liked a bit of reversal that comes with this story and Mila’s character. It makes me love these two all the more.
Chasing Him really hits the sweet spot between romance and sexy times. This slow burn journey allows readers to really get to know these characters as well as allow John and Mila to adjust to the new roles they play. The energy between them and the antics of the Bishop clan are more than enough to keep readers engaged until John and Mila finally find their way to the bedroom. Trust that is is worth the wait, too. Kennedy Fox doesn’t let you down.
Fans of the Bishop Brothers are going to devour this book and the newest hero to steal our hearts. It is my top single dad romance EVER.

As much as it pains me to say because I love single dad, this was good but not great. I just wanted more. The chemistry felt like there was no build up? Like they talked about liking each other but it never felt real. Had cute moments and I loved John and Mila as separate characters, plus they were good together but I just wanted more chemistry wise
“Nannies aren’t supposed to be attractive or young or full of temptation. Nannies are supposed to be older ladies around Mama’s age who just adore being around babies and knit in their rocking chairs.”
John Bishop has become my favorite Bishop brother, hands down. Being reserved and quiet throughout the past books, John’s character kept me super intrigued and waiting for his installment. After finally getting to officially meet John, I can honestly say that it was worth the wait. :)
I love how tight knit the Bishop family is, how they have each others backs in the good and the bad and how this is portrayed in Chasing Him. We see the family come together as an amazing support team for John when he realizes he is a single father and has no clue what he’s doing.
Enter Mila, a recent college graduate who’s visiting for the Summer and takes on a temporary nanny job taking care of Maize, John’s three month old daughter. Her connection with Maize is instantaneous and she quickly falls in love with her, John, and the Bishop family.
“I never expected to fall in love when I came here. Never expected John, Maize, or his entire family to mean so much to me.”
Although I did enjoy John and Mila’s love story, I was expecting more slow burn and angst. One of my favorite aspects of a good romance novel is the build up to the characters falling in love with each other and I felt that we didn’t get to witness the way John and Mila’s relationship evolved from acquaintances to friendship, and then into them becoming super comfortable with each other before actually falling for each other. It could be me, though, I really love my slow burns to be extra slow burny. Even so, when John and Mila stopped holding back and finally let their feelings take over, I was all mush for John Bishop.
”I’ve fallen madly and deeply in love with you, Mila Carmichael. I love you so damn much that it’s hard to find words that will give justice to the way I feel.”
As in the previous installments of the Bishop Brothers series, Kennedy Fox kept teasing us with Jackson’s story. I have been highly entertained with Jackson’s character throughout the series and I love him already! Chasing Him ends with a bang and perfectly paves the way for Keeping Him. I can’t wait to read about Jackson and re-visit with the Bishop family!

John and Mila were a surprise couple that I couldn't put down!
John & Mila what a terrific pair. This book is my favorite book out of all of them. I was so emotional from start with the letter about mazie until the very end. I cried and I laughed numerous times. I can’t put into words how much this book affected me but it has and I’m grateful for it. The relationship between them was so organic & I just loved each of their characters and backgrounds. I’m also glad Kennedy Fox didn’t push the whole DILF aspect or make him too sad either. Each aspect surrounding the mother & johns life were kept separately which I liked. This book was honestly amazing I wouldn’t change a think, I almost wish it was a duet.. Somebody send me my own personal John Bishop please!
