This book was like a never-ending Hallmark movie, rolled up in cotton candy and then drowned in maple syrup.
All these small town Americana books paint such an unrealistic picture of what small town life is like and romanticize human nature to the point that every single person is a caricature that feels a bit disconcerting as you read about how perfect they are in this dumb idealized small town Americana way.
Thanks! I hated it!

I enjoyed this book. It's a single dad romance with a nanny. John Bishop is handsome, gruff, and reserved cowboy. He isn't your typical single dad, having met his daughter when she was dropped off on his front porch. The swoon potential is high with John Bishop. Mila, the woman who works for him fits right in with the Bishop family. John and Mila have insane chemistry and a natural rapport with each other. Their journey to their HEA is so heartwarming. You'll be smiling after you finish reading Chasing Him.
[I recieved an arc for an honest review]
If you have been following the Bishop brothers since book 1 than by now their family seems like your family. It was great catching up with all the characters.
John is the definition of a DILF. He is also sweet, loyal, hardworking and an amazing dad. He puts his daughter Maize before his own needs without thinking twice about it. Mila is adorable, caring, and beautiful inside and out. Kids and teaching are her passion, and she's good at it. The two work perfectly together, but they never planned on thier intense connection, and they struggle to see how it can fit into their futures.
Chasing Him was definitely a slow burn. Maybe a little too slow, I was 66 % into the ebook before any action happened. Then them finally coming together was a bit anti climatic for me. I felt like the sex took a back seat to the story as a whole. John with his daughter were the sweetest interactions ever and the emotions were there. The story was 5 stars for me but, the steamy romance aspect fell flat which is why I am giving it a 4🌟. I am really looking forward to Jacksons story becuase I have a feeling its going to be a heartbreaker !

Leave it to KF to take a trope I don't love and make me adore it! I was not too excited when I found out my favorite Bishop was going to be a single dad trope but I love how they spun it! It was light and fun and adorable!
John finds an infant left on his doorstep with a note from one of his short lived flings telling him that he is a father to sweet Maize. Maize's mother passed away from cancer, while she didn't care to tell him that she was pregnant she doesn't want Maize raised by anyone other than him. So John is now a struggling single dad to a two month old baby girl. Behind John's back Mama Bishop hires Mila to be Maize's nanny. Mila just graduated from college with a degree in education to be an elementary school teacher. With her experience with her large family and her love for all things babies she eagerly agrees to be Maize's nanny. What neither John or Mila expected was feelings.
I enjoyed John and Mila's story. They were fun and cute and I loved Mia's spitfire side to her. I loved how they communicated together (that is always so refreshing since authors love to use miscommunication as a poor plot device) and I adored how they both recognized each other's dreams and passions. While I adored Mila and John, I felt that the whole reason Mila went to Texas was quickly resolved/brushed under the rug and that irked me a bit. But this was another great addition to the Bishop Brothers series that I am beyond obsessed with.

I love John Bishop! Kennedy Fox - you are making it impossible for me to pick my favorite Bishop brother! But so far I think it has to be John. He is as stubborn as the rest, but his sweet and spicy sides are so strong. Of course, I'm a sucker for an adorable baby so there was a lot of awwing during this one. I wish we got even more romance from Mila an John (why did they have to be so stubborn about their feelings for so long?!) I cannot get enough of the Bishop family and I can't wait to see what Jackson gets into!

I loved this book so very much!! It's a single dad and nanny book, set on a ranch in a small town, yes please! John had an infant left on his steps and now he is doing what he has to do to take care of his responsibilities. Mila is visiting her grandparents after she figures out that her best friend does not have the same feelings for her. John and Mila have chemistry but they deny it until they can't fight it. This story is sweet, funny, and filled with sexual tension. I was excited to read this book and it did not disappoint at all!

Favorite Bishop Brother so far! I adored this installment in the series! John is by far the best of the brothers...I love him *dreamy eyes*. After Needing Him I was a little apprehensive about this because I was so excited for it but it was no secret book two was a slight miss for me. But there was no need to worry because Kennedy Fox hit it out of the park with this one! Of course this picks up right after the bombshell at the end of Needing Him learning that John has a daughter *shocked face* enter Mila his new Nanny. I loved their relationship and I thought they worked perfectly together. This story was relatively angst free which I was a huge fan of basically this is the book you read when you want to smile and that's absolutely okay with me. Definitely recommend to all the romance lovers out there!
