Meh overall. Ends in a cliffhanger, which, boo. I'm going to keep going though, because I have weird completist compulsions.
Again, this book was a very quick read. There were some cringe - worthy parts in the book, which is why I gave it 3 stars. But overall, it was a fun read and will most likely continue on.

is it me or did this book feel like the begining of a book the entire time. I mean everything happened in What? 3 days???. it surprised me when it ended.
with that being said. I absolutely enjoyed it. I have a thing right now for angle books. I like the direction this is going. if it weren't for the fact that it felt too short I would give it 5 stars.

The story could be good, but the writing is immature. The adjectives used don't go together and are distracting from the story. The angels cuss like sailors....
was hooked and read the whole book in two days. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good love story with action romance and a damn good plot. I can't wait to sink my teeth into the next book in the series.

Never having read anything written by Cameo Renae before, but having heard fantastic things about Hidden Wings, I have to say that my expectations were fairly high going into this. Sometimes having such high expectations can lead to disappointment. But not with Hidden Wings. Cameo Renae delivered an amazing book on all fronts.
For me, reading is my escape so there is nothing quite like reading a book that is just so easy to read. A book that is smooth and flows freely and is just effortless. But at the same time, you're right there in the pages with all the characters experiencing the story just as they are experiencing it. That's exactly how Hidden Wings was for me!! The story flowed so easily that before I knew it I had finished and was so disappointed that I didn't have more to read!!
I admit to loving books that are full of romance. And while there is definitely romance in Hidden Wings, it's not the main focus of the story. It's interspersed throughout, given to us through the feelings and occasional touches between the characters. But there is no doubt about the feelings that Emma and Kade have for each other.
My heart began to swell to the point of bursting. I'd never experienced feelings like this before, but then again, my feelings seemed to go out-of-whack whenever he was near. It felt like we were destined to find each other, and everything inside of us seemed to be confirming that fact.
Hidden Wings is action packed. There are epic battle scenes which had me on the edge of my seat trying to anticipate what would happen next. There is drama, suspense and mystery.
One of the stand out aspects of Hidden Wings was the interaction between all the characters. There was some fantastic dialogue and banter between them all. It was so much fun. They all had a familial ease about them and it was so easy to grasp how much they all cared for each other.
I've become an instant fan of Cameo Renae and June, and the release of Broken Wings can't come fast enough. Grab yourself a copy of Hidden Wings. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed!!!
