Delightful!

When small town Vermont cheesemaker Angie rescues city businesswoman Elle from a dangerous flood, the attraction between them combusts immediately. But after realizing Elle is in town to persuade Angie’s family to sell the business that is her legacy, their romance fizzles under the weight of a serious conflict of interest. Having feelings for each other is the last thing they need, but their hearts have other ideas.

Say Cheese is an adorable and spicy age gap, city girl/country girl romance that amuses, delights, and entertains in every single chapter. Elle and Angie’s immediate chemistry leaps off the page and, despite a host of misunderstandings and prejudices, the attraction grows into an authentic emotional connection that is heartwarming. The small town setting is absolutely glorious with its charming shops, restaurants, and natural beauty; and the side characters, including Angie’s hilariously chaotic family and precious St. Bernard complete this novel’s fun and immersive quality.

No one will need to yell, “Say Cheese!” for this story to leave readers grinning long after turning the last page.

Cheese is right, except it's the stinky kind.

Is it terrible to say this book was ✨cheesy✨? But honestly, cheesy in the best way 🧀. It's a sweet age gap romance underlining the fact that sometimes our dreams aren't actually what we need, or even what we truly want. Predictable in the way most rom-coms are, but with the added bonus of what could have been a
huge third act break up due to miscommunication, they actually solved AS ADULTS
. From that alone, I knew this would have a bit of a higher rating. And thank God for that.

Fate, In The Form Of Floods And Cheese

Sometimes, when your life seems empty and dry, fate can step in and change everything in the most unexpected ways.

I don’t want to give away spoilers so all I will say is that this is a story about finding oneself, about healing from losses, about learning to trust again, and finding love.

Angie Lane fears her family is going to lose the creamery they’ve operated for 200 years. Elle works for a less than scrupulous consulting firm that wants the Lane family to sell out. And when Elle is sent to Vermont to try to convince the Lane family to sell, fate intervenes and turns everything on its head.

This is a fun read, delightfully written, with a proper happy ever after ending.

I recommend this book!

If you're looking for a reliable, familiar and low key sapphic read then this is it. Solid writing and character development, just didn't make me feel wow is all.
