My original review was lost in the Goodreads ether but the important thing to know is that I love this book and will put it in the hands of every middle grader I know.

I loved the representation this book had for the LQBTQIA+ community and for autoimmune diseases, but I never felt connected to any of the characters. I think there were way too many different plot lines going on in the story so the characters felt a little flat.
