An incredible deep dive into an often overlooked aspect of nature. I loved the section on dairy farming, selfishly and absolutely marvel at all the moss facts that just aren't mainstream. With the feeling of a neighborhood stroll, Kimmerer sheds light on the science and activism around our small mossy friends.

It’s slow, obviously. But the descriptions and passion make it a good read. It gives a good life philosophy and a lot of information. I could picture the scenes of someone studying moss in a forest and familiarizing themselves so much to the point of easy recognition.
