I'm not one to DNF books (so I didn't) but this was pretty taboo for me. I'm 19 and for a spell, I was thinking I could be attracted to older guys. Until two of the characters snapped me back to reality lol. The 🌶🌶 was pretty good. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, though. I'm scared of being judged tbh 😅

This just wasn’t for me. I didn’t like the characters and I definitely didn’t like how I couldn’t connect with them.

I really wanted to like this, but it just didn’t hit for me.

I picked up this book knowing it probably wouldn't be my thing simply to support the author who has recently lost her husband. The relationship between Dominic and Stassia was a little too taboo for me for one reason. Seven years raising Stassia with her mother was a little too much of a father figure for me. Maybe if it had only been a year or two it would have worked better for me. Just a personal preference. Otherwise, it was it was a fun, steamy read.
