I found Jules to be annoying and self centered, I don't think she is as strong of a female character as she was supposed to be. Theres only 2 Killian chapters so it's not much for a dual POV. And there were definite inconsistencies throughout the book that were annoying. The spice was pretty good but it was overshadowed by Jules constant thinking of how much she hated him and couldn't do this that got on my nerves.
Diapers and Guns
This was a cute story, not really a mafia romance, more of a modern romance. It wasn’t as good as book one, and the female character lead was a bit frustrating at points within the story. However, the book was filled with cute funny moments, great steam, and it ended well.

4.5 Hilarious, Heart-Pounding, & Steamy Stars!
I loved this hilarious, and exciting, romance, with all it's thrilling twists and turns, fun banter, and lots of sizzling passion! I could not wait for Killian's story after being teased by this mysterious, powerful, and sexy man for so long and Geissinger did not disappoint! At the end of Beautifully Cruel, Killian had taken on his brother, Liam's identity as head of Boston's Irish Mafia. When a band of thieves hits one of his warehouses, he is impressed by how easily they pulled it off. But Killian and his superpowers allows him to easily find the culprits, Juliet and her girlfriends, Fin and Max. He is instantly attracted to Juliet and intrigued by how brave she is, and is especially drawn to her sassy mouth. No one stands up to him and lives, until Juliet. Juliet and her friends bonded over a shared contempt of how evil their fathers are. Killian and the Irish mafia represent everything Juliet hates. So when Killian is sweet, kind, honorable, and poetic, he melts her panties no matter how hard she fights it. Killian wants her to trust him completely, and see that he is more than his reputation. Juliet is the biggest challenge of his life and he will do anything to break down her walls and make her love him. But when his enemies get to them first, it just might be too late! This exciting, and passionate story was funny, heart stopping and very hot and sexy. Juliet was a perfect challenge for Killian, and I liked how smart, and sassy she was even tho I wanted to shake her at times. Killian made me swoon when he was so sweet, protective, and deliciously dirty. They are so explosive together, and whew, that first kiss alone was so hot, making their chemistry leap right off the page. I also loved and laughed out loud so many times at the hilarious banter between Juliet and her friends, and even Declan as well, I would love to hopefully read more about all of them. I really enjoyed and couldn't stop reading this hilarious, heart-pounding, and steamy romance!

This two book series was everything. I just loved it so much. Loved the writing style, loved the story. I ended up buying them in paperbacks for my bookshelves. Loved it
I think that this book beats Liam's (the first book in this series) out of the water. I love Killian and I love Jules. They are such a good combination of light and dark. Killian is charming and tries to woo Jules. What I appreciate about Jules is that she was relatable in the way that a sane person would question why a mafia boss would try to charm her. Killian tries to figure out why she would steal diapers from him and give them to an organization that needs it. Later, Killian protects her because the Serbians came after her due to her father, head of the Italian mafia.
Killian tries to give her space and when she says one night, and then later on five days, Killian is all in. Throughout the book he just wants her to trust him so that he can reveal his true identity as a spy posing as a mafia king. She doesn't reveal her feelings or that she trusts him until after she had been captured by the Serbians and had her feet whipped. When he comes to save her I felt it was a little anticlimactic because I wanted there to be more of a vulnerable moment. However, Jules is not weak and she is definitely not one to back down just because she was kidnapped, she grew up with that fear.
I do wish that there was a memory of Juliet, Fin, and Max together. I didn't really warm up to Fin and Max until the end of the book. I found them to be jaded by the possibility of being caught. Maybe it is the mafia upbringing that made them apathetic to it.
Overall, this book was a good read and I really enjoyed it for being a mafia romance. It is definitely the tamest of the books I have read but nonetheless entertaining. The banter was also great as well.
