Amazing, so funny and entertaining. I love the Black brothers so so so much. Killian was fantastic, I want one for me lol As many other female characters in her books, Juliet was sassy and strong, and I loved the romantic conflict, as well as the action scenes. Honestly a better read than I expected, and I had already LOVED the first book.

Killian black found out Juliet broke into his warehouse to steel some baby diapers and give them back to the community so he take her at first but then he let her go till he could called her again but then he found out that Juliet is not her real name but a fake one. She is the daughter of a mafia family and also his enemy what is going to happen next. I just got with this sorry and let me tell you it did not leave anything out like the spicy scene, the kidnapping. The falling in love, the back and forth. #bookstagram #books #bookworm #booklover #bookish #bookaddict #bookaholic #bookblogging #booktok #igreads #insttabooks #booksbookboooks #kindlepaperwhite #bookobsessed #bookstagrammer #fivestarread

Having started with the Q&Ms series, I was always drawn to Killian, and his attitude captured me from the beginning. In this installment, the author dives deeper into details compared to book one, and throughout reading these two series I'm noticing a tick in her writing style as the series unfolds, she simply starts kind of iffy and gets better as the series progresses.

While I appreciated the storyline, the instantaneous love element still irks me a bit. BUT the plots remain captivating, though there's a very noticeable template that the author follows across her works. (see my other reviews)

While Killian didn't turn out to be as enigmatic as I hoped, I still wish there was more complexity to his character like there was in the Q&Ms series. Juliet, on the other hand, was a delight, and I found myself thoroughly enjoying her character. Maybe in future installments, we'll explore other Mafia men’s stories that include these characters I’ve grown fond of… a series focusing on the thirteen might be interesting, but only time will tell.

These were dark lite books. Entertaining, steamy, quippy with bad men who aren’t quite so dark. I’m disappointed that Diego and Kieran won’t get their own books. It feels like the series is incomplete.
