I really loved this book. I was expecting a silly, legally-distinct Star Trek parody type book, but what Scalzi delivered was a fun adventure that covered mortality, finding purpose, and the perils of creativity being your livelihood (been there, lol).

This book was recommended to me by a friend who knew I am a fan of Star Trek as well as science fiction/fantasy books and would appreciate this particular book. It did not disappoint me in any way. It was delightful, went in a direction I didn't expect, and wrapped up in a beautiful way. This book may make it into my annual rotation of books or books to read between series.
